Molanni, the Calm Air

When the world was first made, Good Emperor Yelm sat on his throne and ruled with dignity and justice. All was good. But then the world was broken and Orlanatus, the crude Rebellus Terminus defied the Emperor's rule and brought strife to the world. At first great Yelm ignored the howling barbarians at his gate, but they broke into his palace and stole some of his treasures. Shargash and Lodril chased the villains to the ends of the world, but they kept coming back and causing trouble.

One day Yelm was astonished to wake and find one of the rebels in his bed chamber. She was Molanni, and she spake thus; "Great and Merciful Yelm, my father and his brothers make unjust war upon you and your people. Though you think us coarse and unmannered, you should know that we have rules, and first of these rules is that kin must always be honored. Take me as your wife and my father will submit to your rule as a kinsman should." So Yelm took Molanni as his wife, and of this union a child was born. His name was Daga.

Daga was the blessed child, the union of Sun and Rain. In his footsteps the grass grew greener and his only had to reach out for a tree to spring into fruit and bow it's boughs to his hand. All who saw him loved him, and all agreed that his would bring peach to the world. Molanni and Daga set out in search Orlanatus' camp so that she should tell her people what had been done so bring the peace that she craved. Their journey was long and hard, for Shargash then had the rebels cornered at the top of a great mountain, but eventually she reached her kin's' camp and told her people what she had done.

Orlanatus was not pleased. He refused to recognize his kinship with great Yelm, and saw the child Daga as a threat. He ripped Daga's powers from him and divided them among his henchmen and then imprisoned the child in a clay jay. Molanni was cast out of the camp and returned, shamed by her failure to Yelm's bright palace. Yelm was sad to see her return alone, but offered her a place in his household.

Entry Requirements:	Women only.
Homeland:	Lunar Provinces.
Abilities:	Devotee of Molanni or Initiate of Molanni, Mythology of Molanni, Soul Vision, Sing, Walk Long Distances.
Virtues:	Humble, Peaceful.
Affinities and Feats:	Calm Air (Still winds, Stop Rain, Banish Clouds, Dissipate Wind Spirits) Bring Peace (Endure Scorn, Reconcile Enemies, Seduce)
Secret:	Unleash Daga (Induce drought. Resistance is 14 + modifiers for Duration + modifier for Range (radius). May also serve to attack any creature or spirit tied to the Water Rune).
Other Side:	Molanni worshippers emerge in the Servants Quarters of Yelm's Celestial Palace.
Disadvantages:	Scorned by most Orlanthi, hated by those that know about Unleash Daga. Orthodox Yelmites have little more respect.
