These books are all available now or are scheduled for release in the future. You are welcome to read about our upcoming releases. All books are 80 pages in "Standard Format" (8.5" x 11") except where otherwise noted.
Core Books (red spine)These books contain "all you need" to play the game. HeroQuest is a complete resource for players and narrators, containing all the rules needed to play, as well as sample adventures and hero bands. Hero's Book is an essential resource for players, giving them an immediate introduction to the game, as well as many tips to help them play and succeed.
Hero Wars Line (orange spine)Support for the Hero Wars Campaign, set at the end of the Third Age of Glorantha. The first source book listed (Glorantha) is now out of print, and contained no game information. The second book, Anaxial's Roster, was originally published for Hero Wars, but it is fully compatible with HeroQuest.
Player's Handbooks (blue spine)Each book is directed towards a cultural group and gives keywords for typical members of the culture, new cults, colorful hero bands to join or fight, and instructions on exploiting the details of the culture for exciting game play.
Regional/Campaign Supplements (black spine)Each book addresses a specific geographic area or campaign series. The books detail the geography, peoples, creatures, and other facts of interest about the area. Each also includes adventures, a story arc of the time and place with occasional incursions of the Hero Wars and the adventures there, powerful native characters, regional hero bands, and local deities.
Game Aids (green spine)Game aids include items useful to players or narrators, but not part of the normal HeroQuest series of books.

Approved by Issaries, Inc.Approved Products are those that Issaries, Inc. has reviewed and approved. The contents are considered generally accurate, although some errors and ommissions are likely. Issaries, Inc. retains the right to change this information as necessary before declaring them official at some time in the future. This category now includes all of the Pre-Finished Works, non-professional compilations of the notes of Greg Stafford, creator of Glorantha. They have many gaps in information, and the author stridently claims the right to change anything in them before final, professional publication. Thus, these are recommended for the hardcore Gloranthaphile, but not for the newcomer or casual fan.The Pre-Finished Works are all available through Warehouse 23, Steve Jackson Games' online retail store.
