Award-Winning Game Now Better than Ever
A Sharp press release
Seattle, WA -- 9 October 2002
A Sharp have just released an update (to version 1.7) of King of Dragon Pass. It can be downloaded
from their web site.
Game Designer David Dunham said, "I hate bugs. Even though most of these were rare, they were
affecting our players, so we fixed them."
We'd like to thank our players for their feedback, which allowed us to resolve the following issues:
- Fixed problem where no children were born
- Fixed possible crash sacrificing to Vinga in a scene
- Fixed sacrifice results after learning of Orlkensor's fate
- Losing wildlands because you split the clan won't annoy the fox
- Fixed rare bug if cursed skirt appears early
In other King of Dragon Pass news, David Dunham will be joining his co-designers Greg Stafford
and Robin Laws as a guest of GloranthaCon VIII, which will be held 7-9 March 2003 in Toronto.
The convention explores many aspects of Glorantha, the setting of King of Dragon Pass. See
the GloranthaCon web site for more information.
And many of the shirts, mugs, and mouse pads available with King of Dragon Pass artwork are on
sale for $3 off through 21 October. See
the King of Dragon Pass CafePress store
for sale prices.
King of Dragon Pass runs on both Windows and Macintosh, and is available for $19.95 from
A Sharp's web site, or select retailers, including
Wizard's Attic.
