Issaries, Inc. is very pleased to announce its latest release in the Hero Wars line, Anaxial's Roster is an bestiary for the mythic fantasy world of Glorantha. It includes not only Hero Wars game statistics, but also colorful myths about a wide assortment of natural and supernatural creatures. "A million kinds of beasts live in Glorantha, and this book helps you portray the most important of them in your own stories," says Greg Stafford, President of Issaries, Inc. "It even lets players run non-humans like elves, ducks, or morokanths." Anaxial's Roster contains over 150 entries describing more than 300 animals, monsters, and other creatures. They range from the fierce bird steeds of the dragonewts to domestic animals, from wild beasts to the magical creatures that hunt them, from terrible monsters to the disembodied denizens of the Otherworlds. Eleven longer myths show how they fit into Glorantha's magic ecology. "Anaxial is the Gloranthan hero who saved all the animals from a catastrophic flood," says Stafford.
