Doesn’t seem to answer my question, which is about Cyclism rather than what phase the initiate is tied to. OTOH, Pavis pg 403 and HeroQuest Glorantha preview pg 141 do say all Glamours are “tied to the waxing and waning of the Lunar Cycle,” so I guess that would cover it.September 12, 2014 at 12:28 am #10857
The latest Kickstarter update states that Illuminates and higher will get a preview in the next few days.(Link)July 17, 2014 at 11:41 pm #9984
In volume I you have to expand the bookmark titled “World Structure” and then the one under that titled “Eldar Races” to see most of important contents. Likewise, in volume 2 you have to expand the one titled “Seshnela” and then the one marked “Teshnos”. So most of them are there, but hidden in odd places.July 17, 2014 at 8:58 pm #9980
Fonrit seems to be the nastiest of the major cultures, and think most outsiders probably consider them to be, if not total, at least somewhat crazy.July 13, 2014 at 8:39 pm #9838
It’s just a joke reference to the American Automobile Association Atlas. Note that the joke is slightly off; it should be Argan Argar Association Atlas. Oh well, with quality like this I can certainly forgive as small a mistake as that.July 7, 2014 at 8:28 pm #8583
I’m going to echo Fabian Kuechler’s question. The survey didn’t contain any questions about how the dust jackets are being personalized.July 3, 2014 at 9:53 pm #8410
I think that a Lhankor Mhy can use the Law Rune as the Grimoire rating. As for having the Grimoire for sidekick, I don’t see why not.July 1, 2014 at 1:57 pm #8334
I’m wondering if it would be cheaper to get the Guide at Gen Con. Is the price it will be sold there even known yet?May 27, 2014 at 5:44 pm #7967Quote:Quote from Jeff Richard on May 27, 2014, 08:02
Long fingernails are always a sign of not needing to do manual labor.
I suspect that a large number of modern-day women will beg to differ on that point 🙂May 20, 2014 at 10:43 pm #7937
I don’t recall ever reading that Sartarites could not work iron, though I doubt the skill is common.May 13, 2014 at 7:21 pm #7866Quote:Quote from Jeff Richard on May 13, 2014, 17:52
Praxian beasts are common riding animals in much of Dragon Pass.
To me, that was the most surprising part of the picture.April 28, 2014 at 3:03 pm #7719Quote:Quote from David Scott on April 28, 2014, 09:48
In Prax Waha has the Death Rune and Eiritha has the Life Rune, and there are children between cultists.
True, but Waha’s attitude toward the Death rune is rather different from Humact’s. Waha’s Death would include hunting for example, which is Death in the service of life. Humact’s Death, by contrast, is simply Death, with any other effect being incidental.April 25, 2014 at 11:51 pm #7670Quote:Quote from Scott Martin on April 24, 2014, 23:59
Presidential Peek confirms 50k.
So it does. Consequently, the fifteen largest cities in Glorantha are:
each with approximately 100,000 people
each with a population of approx. 50,000
both at 30,000
all at 25,000
Oddly, Jillaro is listed as a Large City in the text, but mapped as a Metropolis, while Joranit is the other way around.April 22, 2014 at 2:53 pm #7626Quote:Quote from David Scott on April 22, 2014, 10:06
The Many Friends – The Sky Gazers (sky), the Burners (fire), the Thirstless (water), The Shadow People (Darkness), The Hidden Ancestor (Sky, Moon). These simple spirit societies are made up of the spirits that Waha befriended in the Great Darkness. They cater to those with a related elemental rune (each tribe is associated with an elemental rune) – great colour.
Would Lightning Boy and the Three Feathered Rivals be numbered among these?April 11, 2014 at 11:13 pm #7520
Page 275 The header says Hum Chang Province, but the text says that the island of Hum Chang is divided into two provinces: Kaisan and Modaings.
