“So here’s the plan: we’ll send out the pdf for Volume One of the Guide in time for Christmas,…”
Getting very close now, or is it time for an up date? Or are you aiming to be Santa this year?December 21, 2013 at 10:59 am #6494Quote:Quote from Roko Joko on December 19, 2013, 22:35
What’s your current estimate of when the volume one pdf is going out? How about the Atlas pdf?

The update’s available as of this morning, US time.
Thanks for the update and communication Rick. Looking forward to the Guide and AAA when it makes its appearance. Hope I can speak for others too in that please do your best rather than speediest in completing the Guide, especially given the circumstances.December 5, 2013 at 7:00 am #6310Quote:Quote from Rick Meints on December 4, 2013, 03:31
I am writing the update and will have it ready for Wednesday this week. Awesome stuff to display.
Now that this Wednesday has gone, does this mean were you saying a week Wednesday?November 17, 2013 at 2:52 pm #6254Quote:Quote from Dan Barker on November 17, 2013, 13:06
So, let me get this straight. Most of you would rather have a book that covers a wider selection of Gods than a book that tracks the change of cultic thought that ended up with how the Lunar Empire came to be? I’m a little disappointed.
I for one would rather have this than a simple cults compendium.
Oh, so it’s the Gods of the Lunar Empire Book. I didn’t quite realise. I thought it was the Cults of Prax and Dragon Pass. Now I know! 😉October 19, 2013 at 5:04 pm #6114Quote:Quote from Lawrence Whitaker on October 19, 2013, 14:04Quote:Quote from Rungard on October 19, 2013, 13:07
And I guess The Design Mechanism will publish a parallel book with all those deities in terms of RuneQuest 6, right?
Not quite. Adventures in Glorantha will include the tools for you to make the conversions, but we won’t be publishing parallel books that reinvent the wheel.
Not in AIG, but RuneQuest stats, cults and adaptation for Moon Designs’ first three books would be cool IMHO. Crowdsourcing this will help define the level of interest and economic value.
Similarly a RQ book, I hate to say it by like Avalon Hill’s Gods of Glorantha, might complement Moon Designs’ future Gods of Glorantha version by bestowing ‘RQ crunchiness’.
Plus whatever main dishes the Design Mechanism serves up, of course.October 15, 2013 at 5:25 am #6100
A MOB expanded Borderlands taking us into the future sounds more fun, and less likely to cause the groan of “Another reprint!”.
But another area of Glorantha will have to be explored, once the Gods of Glorantha is out.October 13, 2013 at 5:50 pm #6079
I would agree with Rungard. Why take the golden opportunity and cover a new, exciting area. Sun County and Borderlands has enough coverage already.
And doesn’t Ralios just scream RuneQuest when you read about it? Or Fonrit or many others?
