Adding to Scott’s and Martin’s comments
Page 409 and Page 673 Dwarfs –> Dwarves

Page 763 Combining Dwarf and Dwarves, and adding the changes above becomes…

Page 475 Regional Activity Table. Rare Events. Vithela –> Vithalash ?
It’s hardly a rare event that trade happens within the continent (Vithela), but rare for trade to come from Vithalash?

However, it is slightly confusing as Vithela appears to be use to describe the continent (now partly submerged to form Islands), and to describe the remaining hub of which Vithalash is the remaining part in the Middle World.

Either way, maybe Vithalash might be clearer?

Page 750. “Other material has appeared since 1975 in various publications. This appendix is a guide to those sources.”

I would humbly say that the last sentence should be deleted or amended, as only Moon Design’s current stock is listed (assuming King of Sartar is re-printed in 2014).

“King of Sartar. By Greg Stafford. A work of fiction,…”
Slightly confusing (“A work of fiction”) as all these books, after all, are fiction. So is this ‘in world’ fiction? Maybe just delete?

RICK SEZ: Tweaked the text a bit. Not going to worry about “fiction” reference.

Page 729. Side Bar text. The extent of the Windstop in 1623.
However on pages 728-9 discusses how the Whitewall fell in 1621 then “…the wind stopped” and later in “1622, King Broyan and Kallyr Starbrow ambushed the Lunar Army” and how “[t]his victory revived Orlanth and Ernalda”.
So change the Side Bar text to 1621 or 1622?

Page 717 As related to Gorlok the Voyager, initiate of the Eneal Lhankor Mhy Temple. An uzko told me this, in Dagori Inkarth. 1230 ST

I remember when Arkat was born. I was there.

An extremely long lived Uzko? Or an UzUz?

Jeff Sez: The ambiguity was intentional on Greg’s part. It could be that Gorlok was told this by an uzko who related the story of an Uzuz. Or the uzko was very long lived as she was there when Arkat was born.

    Adding to Nick’s excellent spot:
The Index page 767 has Gina Jar instead of Ginna Jar. It also misses the reference to Ginna Jar on page 121

    Maybe more accurately:
…demigod Sheng Seleris, who conquered much of Genertela over two centuries ago…
I could be wrong but his success outside of Genertela was limited?

Absolutely mind-boggling depth held within the Guide. I’m glad I never had this when I was younger: I would of never have passed any exams.

Thinking about that. There must be someway you can do a Gloranthan Degree at a Californian Uni. Just have to get the Gloranthan Luminaries to do some lectures and with the Guide, Canon books and the forthcoming GoG you’ve got it sorted.

Sorry, somewhat off topic but it can blow away your SAN and drives you to a gibbering wreck.
