We welcome the creation of Gloranthan fan material. Even though publishing Gloranthan materials is not permitted under the HeroQuest Open Game License, several possible avenues exist. This page is to introduce you to those options, and explain the differences between them. Because we know how intimidating the pointy and razor sharp bits of a legal document are, we have provided a bunch of introductory material to make everyone’s job easier. PLEASE read the other materials first. The official Fan Policy lists the fiercest definition of Issaries’ legal rights, but if you are willing to get a license we can make these terms much easier for you (and me). So, unless you are a lawyer and used to legalese, please read the other explanations first!

Publishing or Web Publishing your own Fan Material
Issaries, Inc. and Moon Design allow fans to publish their own HeroQuest and Glorantha and material. We sometime allow, and sometimes require, the use of Issaries, Inc. trademarks and registered trademarks. Depending on the nature of the material you may need a license, formal or informal, for the publication. (It’s not hard to get one, or to comply!)
