Greg Stafford
Greg Stafford discovered Glorantha in 1966 and began a life-long creative effort to explore
and popularize the world. In 1974 he began his first game company,
Chaosium. He published
the first Gloranthan game the next year, named White Bear and Red Moon, which was followed
in 1977 by Nomad Gods, another board game. In 1978 Chaosium published RuneQuest, a
revolutionary and popular roleplaying game also based upon Glorantha.
Since then, Greg has contributed to dozens of supplements and hundreds of articles on
Glorantha. Greg is also game designer, developer, and author of King Arthur: Pendragon,
the award-winning game on Arthurian Roleplaying; many Pendragon supplements; five other
board games; and another six roleplaying games and books. Greg is also on the board of
directors of Shaman's Drum, a magazine about real world shamanism.
Greg is an inductee of the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design
Hall of Fame and the Pen&Paper Fan Awards Hall of Fame.
Greg was born in 1948, is married to Suzanne Courteau, and has three children: Noah,
Alisha, and Jason. Greg founded Issaries, Inc. in 1997 to continue the publication of
Gloranthan games and books. Issaries, Inc. released the Hero Wars roleplaying game in
2000. Glorantha and HeroQuest, a new roleplaying game to be published in 2002, continue
Greg's lifelong commitment to Glorantha.

include the hit RPG Feng Shui, the Over the Edge novel Pierced Heart from Atlas Games,
and the co-designer duties on the trading card game Shadowfist. Robin is the author of
over a dozen roleplaying sourcebooks and adventures, and a contributor to many more.

project, the computer game King of Dragon Pass
from A-Sharp. Upcoming projects include Pantheon and Other Roleplaying Games from
Hogshead Publishing, as well as a veritable slew of contributions to Last Unicorn's
Star Trek line. Robin lives in Toronto, well-known as the best city in the world, with
his lovely wife Valerie. In his secret identity, he indulges his interest in cinema and
continues to accumulate an alarming number of CDs. A Glorantha fan since he was a
teenager, Robin feels profoundly honored to help bring Greg Stafford's world to a new
generation of gamers.
Peter Metcalfe
Peter Metcalfe lives in Christchurch, New Zealand. He was born in the year of Woodstock
and has been trying to act contrary to its ideals ever since. Having misspent most of
his adult years in dissolute study of esoteric topics in an ivory-towered asylum, he
is now happily free. He has been interested in Glorantha ever since he was in short
trousers.
Other hobbies of his are all kinds of history, nitpicking and being a smartarse in
various forums. This is his first work.
Roderick Robertson
Roderick is a native Californian, who never learned to drive. He is married, with many
pets. He has a BA in Medieval Studies, and has worked in libraries and as computer
programmer, but left the corporate world in 1999 to pursue a lucrative profession in
the Role-playing industry. He is the Line Developer for the King Arthur, Pendragon
roleplaying game, as well as the editor of the Hero Wars series of books. He recently
sold his home in Silicon Valley to move back to the Sierra Foothills, building a house
on the family ranch and taking care of his mother.
