The Nomad TribesThe vast area of central Genertela used to be called Genert's Garden, and in modern times is called Genert's Wasteland by outsiders. however, to the natives of the region it is called The Greatlands, or in their own language, Endagara.The natives are all nomads, dominated by a pantribal culture called by outsiders the Animal Nomads. However, they call themselves Dedra, which means "True People." They also call themselves "Endrawaha," which in their language means "People of Waha," named after their greatest hero. There is also a page for cultural background, history etc. Hero BandsA common feature of Praxian life is the Society or band, men or women who share a particular focus in their life. Societies are gender separated. Some cross tribal barriers, others are unique to one particular tribe.
