Nominations Procedures

The Glorantha Trading Association wants to hear from YOU! We want to publicize the best efforts to advance Glorantha and the Hero Wars by highlighting the 20 best Glorantha sites out there.

Finally, we have tallied all of the votes for the Top 20 Glorantha Sites. Check out the Winners' Page to see which sites you thought were the best. Congratulations to the winnners.

We strongly encourage site owners and GTA members to notify us if any of these URLs change, so that we can keep this list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as we have full details on the RPGHost Top RPG Sites lists, we will have details on that page.

MECHANICS

Nominations may come from any GTA Initiate, Rune Master, or Hero, one nomination email per member, nominating no more than 3 sites. After nominations close, we'll open for two weeks of voting by all GTA members and observers, using chad-free email ballots. For voting procedures, see the Top 20 Glorantha Sites voting page.

Nominations should contain the name of the site owner and the full URL of the main page of the site; sites with a large amount of non-Gloranthan content should use the main page containing Gloranthan material as the site URL. Sites need not contain Hero Wars material, but Issaries, Inc. reserves the right to disqualify sites whose Gloranthan content is completely dedicated to/expressed with material devoted to non-Issaries owned games. (For example, a site whose Gloranthan content consisted solely of creature stats for a non-Issaries game, with no actual Gloranthan content beyond the placement of the creatures within a Gloranthan context, would not qualify.) Nominated sites must adhere to Issaries, Inc.'s posted on-line policy (including proper acknowledgement of all copyrights and trademarks, whether or not such rights or marks belong to Issaries, Inc.). Sites that do not follow the online policy will be disqualified.

Nominations must be received before March 31, 2002. Nominations must include the URL of the site's main page or main Glorantha page, as appropriate. Nominations of sites containing material that is slanderous, libelous, pornographic, in violation of copyrights or trademarks, or otherwise defaming to the reputation of Issaries, Inc., its trademarks, or the GTA, will not be considered. It may be difficult for English readers to appreciate non-English works, but that should not mean nominees need to be in English.

By their nature, nominations by e-mail are not private or secret. However, the GTA will not make them public, nor release the name of any anonymous GTA member who chooses to nominate.
