Best of Glorantha 2003
Voting Rules
- Beginning on February 1, 2004, each GTA initiate, runemaster, and hero may vote in one e-mail sent
to the Best of Glorantha 2003. A
vote may be cast for one nominee in each category showing on the Best of Glorantha 2003
list; however, all votes must be in a single e-mail.
- Votes must be received before midnight, February 15, 2004, U.S. Pacific Standard time. Alternately, you can use the
Voting Form in the Initiate area, which will automatically send this email
for you; again, be sure to use the email address listed for you with the GTA. New or upgraded members may vote as long as
their GTA donation and membership information is received and processed before the deadline.
- Voting e-mail submitted for a GTA member from an e-mail address other than that listed with the GTA will not be counted.
No special effort will be made to reconcile bad e-mail addresses with those on the GTA list, so it is up to GTA members to
keep the GTA listing current.
- In the event more than one e-mail is received from a qualified e-mail address, only the last vote received intact before
the deadline will be considered. If a voting e-mail is garbled, and a prior qualified e-mail has been received, that prior
e-mail will be substituted. The GTA may not be able to advise voters of garbled e-mail: so vote early.
- Unclear votes will not be counted. Except where one candidate has been nominated in more than one category, category
labels in votes are ignored. But if a candidate is nominated in more than one category the category label must be unambiguously
associated with the nominee name for such a vote to be considered. If an e-mail purports to vote for more than one nominee in
one category, votes in that category will not count.
- By their nature, votes by e-mail are not private or secret. However, the GTA will not make them public, nor release the
name of any anonymous GTA member who chooses to vote.
- Results will be posted on the Best of Glorantha 2003 winners page as
soon as practical after the voting is closed.
